TCC Titan Food Pantry
TAPCO delivered to those in need attending Tacoma Community College. The campus sits across from TAPCO's Main branch serving approximately 10,000 students. TAPCO was able to donate hundreds of food items collected from our member Shred Day event, and we also delivered cash donations. On top of that, TAPCO donated a brand new and much need refrigerator to the pantry. The Fridge will allow the pantry to stock items such as eggs and frozen goods. HopesCloset
Team TAPCO came together to collect a van full of clothing to donate to HopesCloset in Tacoma. The non-profit provides clothing, hygiene items, cleaning supplies, and more to those in need in Pierce County. Families can make appointments to have a personal shopping experience at HopesCloset Boutique. The innovative approach provides a warm environment and a dignified shopping experience. Young Business Men of Washington
TAPCO delivered snacks to Young Business Men of Washington (YBMW), a local non-profit that works with local young men ages 13-24 to rise above negative influences and socio-economic factors that frequently limit opportunities for success. Having snacks available allows the teens and young adults to have the energy they need to study and be productive during and after school. Red Barn Youth Center
Red Barn Youth Center's mission is to provide a safe, supervised place for Key Peninsula youth in 6th through 12th grade to go after school to have fun, find guidance, develop positive relationships, and become community-minded citizens. TAPCO donated two large, heavy-duty steel racks for the organization and many items off their shopping list, such as toilet paper, dry-erase markers, Band-Aids, chocolate chips, popcorn, and goldfish crackers.

CAPE - Career & Pathway Expo
TAPCO participated with CAPE – Career and Pathway Expo, Connecting Super Girls with Super Mentors through STEAM. CAPE hosted an event that connects 250 6th-8th grade females from the Peninsula SD with career mentors from the community. The girls were able to learn about opportunities for STEAM careers and get hands-on experience with female industry leaders. TAPCO Graphic Designer, Maddie Bush, led a hands-on workshop that taught students how art and technology could be a career pathway.
